| NMathFunctionsConditionNumber(DoubleSymBandMatrix, Boolean) Method |
Computes an estimate of the reciprocal of the condition number of a given matrix
with respect to the one norm.
Namespace: CenterSpace.NMath.CoreAssembly: NMath (in NMath.dll) Version: 7.4
Syntax public static double ConditionNumber(
DoubleSymBandMatrix A,
bool isPositiveDefinite
)
Public Shared Function ConditionNumber (
A As DoubleSymBandMatrix,
isPositiveDefinite As Boolean
) As Double
public:
static double ConditionNumber(
DoubleSymBandMatrix^ A,
bool isPositiveDefinite
)
static member ConditionNumber :
A : DoubleSymBandMatrix *
isPositiveDefinite : bool -> float
Parameters
- A DoubleSymBandMatrix
- A symmetric banded matrix.
- isPositiveDefinite Boolean
- true if A is positive
definite. false otherwise.
Return Value
DoubleAn estimate of the reciprocal of the condition number.
Remarks
The condition number of a matrix
A is:
where
AInv is the inverse of the matrix
A. This function
returns an estimate of the reciprocal of the condition number,
rho = 1/kappa.
