FloatHermPDTriDiagFactFactor(FloatComplexTriDiagMatrix) Method

Factors the matrix A so that self represents the LDL' factorization of A. By default the condition number for the matrix will not be computed and will not be available from the ConditionNumber method.

Parameters

A FloatComplexTriDiagMatrix: The matrix to factor. The matrix is assumed to be Hermitian.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
MatrixNotSquareException	Thrown if the factored matrix was not square.

Remarks

Only the main diagonal and first subdiagonal of the matrix A are referenced and the main diagonal is assumed to be real. The imaginary part of the main diagonal and the superdiagonal of A are ignored.
