Finds a root of the given function within the given interval.

Parameters

f  OneVariableFunction
The function.
lower  Double
The lower bound.
upper  Double
The upper bound.

Return Value

Double
A root of f within the interval between lower and upper.
Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
NMathException Thrown if a root is not found.
Remarks
Iteration stops when either the estimated error is less than the tolerance, or the maximum number of iterations is reached. Setting the error tolerance to less than zero ensures that the maximum number of iterations is always reached.
