Hi, Fab --

There's a nice example on the silverlight.net site here: http://www.silverlight.net/learn/data-networking/network-services-(soap,-rest-and-more)/web-services-(silverlight-quickstart). For more detailed documentation, refer to the MSDN documentation here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc296254(v=VS.95).aspx.

If you'd like to dive deeper, check out the book "Data-Driven Services with Silverlight 2" by John Papa. It's a bit dated since it was written for Silverlight 2 and several things are much easier in later versions of Silverlight, but it's a great overview. John has written extensively online about data services and Silverlight, as well as on some episodes of Silverlight.TV (http://channel9.msdn.com/shows/SilverlightTV/).
